Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales professional to support a UK-based employer in sales, working closely with Mandarin-speaking clients. As a South African professional with fluency in Mandarin, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with UK-based clients, leveraging your cultural awareness and language skills to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in the UK market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their needs and preferences
- Use language skills to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, ensuring seamless sales interactions
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing client networks and relationships
- Analyse sales data and performance metrics to inform sales strategies and optimise results
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years' experience in sales, preferably in a UK-based or international sales environment
- Fluency in Mandarin, both written and verbal
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence using tools such as CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
