JASARA PMC is seeking a seasoned Construction Director (Civil Infrastructure) to lead and manage the successful delivery of our civil infrastructure projects. This role is key to ensuring that large-scale infrastructure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards and client expectations.

The Construction Director will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee project planning and execution, and ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and regulatory requirements. This individual will act as a strategic leader driving operational excellence and innovation within civil infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and oversight of civil infrastructure construction projects.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of project objectives.
  • Ensure projects comply with all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and control project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and communicate project progress and challenges transparently.
  • Direct contract management, procurement processes, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety awareness, and innovation.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams and junior staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 20 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure construction management.
  • Strong background in civil infrastructure including sewer networks, roads and small to mid-scale bridges/culverts (local traffic and pedestrian use)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on achieving project goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in contract administration, procurement and budget control.
  • Ability to identify project risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
