We are looking for a Senior Manager to help lead our Data & AI practice within Aprio's Technology Advisory group in Colombia. This is a senior, client-facing role for a senior technical leader who stays hands-on: designing and building agentic artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, designing and implementing modern cloud data platforms, and leading the data integration and architecture beneath them, while owning delivery, teams, and growth.
Position Responsibiltiies
Agentic AI and automation
Design and build agentic Data and AI systems and intelligent automations and lead their full lifecycle from solution architecture through build, evaluation, and deployment.
Set the technical direction for our agentic AI solution catalog: document processing + workflow automation; automated communication + prediction analytics; system integration + data synchronization; real-time external data validation; and business intelligence + work prioritization.
Establish reusable assets and delivery standards that raise consistency and quality across engagements.
Own the direction for responsible, sustainable, and compliant AI, and lead the AI and data governance frameworks applied across engagements.
Data platforms and architecture
Design and implement modern cloud data platforms (data lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses) on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Lead data integration solutions and data architecture, building reliable, well-governed data foundations that support analytics, reporting, and AI.
Lead data platform modernization and migration from legacy systems, preserving data integrity and business continuity.
Delivery and practice leadership
Own SOW-based engagement delivery across discovery, internal and client kickoff, weekly status, final delivery, and close-out, with accountability for quality, timelines, and profitability.
Establish delivery governance and quality gates, with clear status reporting and retrospectives that keep engagements predictable and outcomes measurable.
Lead distributed teams across our US practice and Aprio Colombia, coordinating delivery on concurrent engagements while balancing capacity, risk, and client commitments.
Client growth and business development
Support business development through proposals, SOWs, solution design sessions, and proofs of concepts and demos that show clients what agentic AI can do before they commit.
Partner with vendors and technology alliances to extend the team's delivery capacity and solution options.
Team leadership and enablement
Mentor and develop managers, engineers, and analysts, and help establish best practices across the practice.
Help shape the operating model, ways of working, and standards that scale the team's delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field; a graduate degree or executive education in management is a plus.
Typically, ten or more years of experience in data, analytics, and AI, including several years leading delivery, teams, and client relationships.
Demonstrated experience both leading and staying hands-on across the design, build, and delivery of AI and automation solutions, including generative and agentic AI (for example, multi-agent workflows, orchestration, and tool or function integration).
Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud data platforms (data lakes, lakehouses, or warehouses) on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and leading data integration and data architecture.
Experience owning engagement or practice profitability, including budgets, resourcing, and delivery governance.
Strong track record of executive (C-level) stakeholder management and advisory in a consulting or professional services setting.
Experience leading distributed or multi-region teams.
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
Preferred qualifications
Experience building or scaling data and AI practice, offering, or delivery model.
Depth in modern data platforms and data engineering tooling (for example, Snowflake or Databricks).
Experience creating agentic AI and automation accelerators or reusable assets.
Relevant certifications in cloud, data, solution architecture, or project and delivery management.

Strong technical grounding in data platforms, data architecture, and AI, able to set direction and stay hands-on.
