About the role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate to join our People team. You'll play a crucial role in helping us find the right people to deliver our mission, while supporting the full recruitment process and improving the candidate experience, employer brand and hiring culture.

Your role

  • Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media and proactive outreach
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screenings and first-round interviews to identify potential candidates
  • Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers throughout the process
  • Ensure a great candidate experience from first contact to offer
  • Conduct reference and background checks on potential candidates
  • Collaborate with People Lead on offers and hiring decisions
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay updated on market trends and share best practices with the team
  • Support employer branding efforts and engage with relevant communities

About you

We're looking for someone who is eager to build a career in Talent Acquisition and who enjoys connecting with people, learning quickly, and taking ownership of their work. To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or another people-related role. Internships are also valued.
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English, with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and in conversation.
  • A genuine interest in recruitment and a desire to learn how to identify, assess, and attract the right talent.
  • The ability to organise your work, manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • The ability to build trust with candidates and hiring managers through clear, timely, and professional communication.
  • A curious mindset, with the habit of exploring different approaches, seeking feedback, and continuously improving the way you work.
  • The initiative to identify what needs to be done, take ownership of your responsibilities, and follow through until completion.

It will be a plus if you

  • Have experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Have sourced candidates through LinkedIn or other recruitment platforms.
  • Have previous experience in a technology or healthcare environment.
  • Have been involved in employer branding initiatives, university events, or recruitment campaigns.

Recruitment stages

1. People Interview: A conversation to get to know you better, explore your background and motivation, and introduce you to knok, our culture, and the role.

2. Case Study: A practical exercise designed to understand how you think, structure your work, and approach recruitment challenges.

3. Final Interview: A conversation where you'll present your case study, explain your reasoning, and discuss your approach with the hiring team.
