The Customer Experience (CX) organisation is responsible for delivering successful customer outcomes across the entire post-sales lifecycle. Within CX, Professional Services plays a key role in translating customer goals into practical delivery: designing, deploying, and operationalising Illumio solutions in a way that builds confidence, drives value, and supports long-term customer success.
Your Impact:
As a Professional Services Consultant, you consistently deliver high-impact results, applying your full qualifications and experience to drive outcomes and add measurable value. You work independently on customer deployments and problem resolution while collaborating with senior team members on more complex architectural considerations.
In this role, you will:
Act as a trusted advisor for clients, assisting them with the integration of Illumio into their environments
Manage deployments and upgrades of the Illumio platform, ensuring successful implementation by coordinating timeframes and required resources.
Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on change preparation for Illumio deployments.
Assist in the development of Illumio-specific API scripts to enhance service deployment, monitoring, and management.
Provide best practices, documentation, and recommendations for optimizing the use of Illumio.
Prepare and maintain project documentation throughout the engagement.
Monitor and troubleshoot the Illumio deployment, addressing anomalies and performance issues.
Serve as the primary interface between client teams and Illumio’s product and support teams.
Provide metrics and reporting on the Illumio deployment’s effectiveness.
Support internal teams with integration documentation and assist with security ruleset and policy development.
Facilitate testing and validation of the Illumio platform for client service teams.
Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions on the Illumio product set for client teams.
Complete necessary administrative documentation, including timesheets and weekly reports.
Your Toolkit:
You bring both technical depth and professional maturity to the role, including:
3 plus years of consulting or advisory experience.
Strong experience with Linux (CentOS/Red Hat preferred) and Windows Server platforms.
Experience with cloud computing service provider models (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
Experience with container platform architecture (Kubernetes, Openshift, etc.)
Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby, Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
Expertise in networking concepts, including network flows, protocols, and application security controls.
Problem-solving ability to diagnose and resolve issues in unfamiliar technology environments.
Ability to work with evolving technology and quickly adapt to new tools.
Client-facing skills, including conflict resolution and project management experience.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
Broad understanding of IT infrastructure.
Existing Experience within Professional Services team of a security vendor is a strong advantage.
Ability to communicate in another European language.
Willingness to travel to HQ in Silicon Valley for product training and knowledge development.
Ability to quickly assimilate new product knowledge and apply it effectively in customer environments.
Prior experience with Illumio is not required - training will be provided.
