About the role
The Raw Material Procurement Specialist supports the Raw Materials Manager across the creation, development, procurement, and industrialization of seasonal fabrics. The role ensures operational excellence, cost-awareness, and smooth alignment between Development, Production, and Design. As a core member of the Raw Materials team, the Specialist maintains full visibility over fabric status, approvals, and timing across the entire seasonal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Production Support
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials under Manager direction
- Strong experience in order management, supplier communication, and coordination with vendors and fabric mills
- Ensure development and production deliveries are aligned with seasonal timelines
- Oversee stock management across Codetex, vendors, mills, and liability inventory
- Support fabric industrialization and production optimization with the Manager
- Track invoices, fabric approvals, and distribution of fabric “Masters” to vendors and mills
- Balance development and production calendars, ensuring priorities and deadlines are met
- Build strong knowledge of supplier capabilities to place accurate and efficient orders
- Maintain clear visibility on fabric approvals and seasonal status with the Raw Materials Manager
- Prepare PLM and Excel reports to monitor developments, risks, and daily updates
- Compliance knowledge is a plus, supporting risk identification with the Compliance team
- Support the development of new base fabrics with the Raw Materials Manager
- Track development pricing and identify cost-effective industrialization solutions with suppliers
- Approve fabrics during development and production stages
- Coordinate fabric research and innovation with Design and PD teams in line with seasonal needs
- Partner with the Raw Materials Manager and Head of Production on seasonal planning and pre-orders
- Monitor collection pricing evolution and flag potential risks
- Work closely with Design on material approvals and alignment
- Maintain strong cross-functional communication with Design, PD, Merchandising, and Production teams

Requirements:
Contract Type: Permanent employment contract (Tempo Indeterminato)
Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL): CCNL Commercio – level and classification to be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and responsibilities associated with the role.
Salary Range: €40,000 – €45,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
