Director of Physical Therapy

Full-Time Role in Middletown, VA

We are hiring a Director of Physical Therapy for an outpatient physical therapy office in Middletown, VA. The position offers $90,000-$120,000 per year, a Monday-Friday schedule, and the chance to lead therapy services in a clinic environment.

This role is a strong match for a licensed Physical Therapist who is ready to manage clinical care, support a team, and take a practical leadership role in patient outcomes and clinic operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the outpatient physical therapy department
• Evaluate patients and establish treatment plans
• Provide direct care for injury recovery, post-surgical rehab, pain, and movement concerns
• Supervise therapists and clinical support team members
• Review care plans, documentation, and discharge notes
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Support clinic processes, compliance, and daily organization

Requirements

• Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous director, manager, or lead clinician experience preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient rehab standards
• Ability to lead people, manage priorities, and maintain care quality
