Legal Intern

Our legal department plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting strategic initiatives across the company.
 
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our legal department, comprised of four experienced attorneys. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in corporate law and operations within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The intern will assist with various administrative and organizational tasks essential to the efficient functioning of an in-house legal team.
 
Your Role: 
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents and correspondence.
  • Legal Research: Conduct basic legal research and assist in preparing summaries and reports under the guidance of members of the legal team.
  • Document Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining legal documents, contracts, and filings, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Compliance Assistance: Support compliance efforts by helping to track deadlines, draft compliance-related communications, and maintain compliance records.
  • Project Coordination: Participate in special projects as assigned, collaborating with team members across various departments to achieve project goals.
  • General Support: Handle general inquiries and requests directed to the legal department, demonstrating professionalism and discretion in all communications.
  • Other Duties: Other duties as may be assigned by members of the legal department. 
You Background: 
  • Currently enrolled in school with a strong interest in law, business, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email (Google Suite, MS Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute.

Requirements

You Background:
