Job Summary 

We are seeking a high-caliber MLRO and Compliance Officer to lead and safeguard the regulatory integrity of a growing Company Service Provider (CSP) based in the UAE. In this pivotal role, you will own the end-to-end AML/CFT framework and serve as the primary liaison with the ADGM Registration Authority. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned compliance professional to step into a position of high visibility, ensuring the firm remains a gold standard for regulatory excellence while supporting the seamless administration of a diverse portfolio of entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Ownership: Maintain and conduct annual reviews of the Business Risk Assessment, including CDD/EDD protocols and sanctions/PEP screening across UN, OFAC, EU, and UAE lists.
• Regulatory Reporting: Act as the designated reporting officer, managing internal suspicion reports and filing official STRs/SARs with the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit.
• CSP License Oversight: Manage all conditions of the CSP license, including client money handling, statutory filings, UBO record-keeping, and the two-business-day retrieval mandate.
• Authority Liaison: Represent the firm in all correspondence with the ADGM Registration Authority, managing notifications and ensuring continuous readiness for compliance assessments.
• Monitoring & Training: Execute the compliance monitoring program, deliver specialized staff AML training, and provide strategic counsel to the Board of Directors regarding risk and potential breaches.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of dedicated AML and regulatory compliance experience, specifically within the ADGM or similar high-oversight jurisdictions.

• Qualifications: Must hold recognized professional AML and compliance certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA).
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of UAE FIU reporting requirements and DNFBP regulatory obligations.
• Integrity: Proven track record of meeting "fit-and-proper" regulatory standards with the ability to provide active, demonstrable oversight.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience managing dual-regulated entities (FSRA and CSP).
• Existing relationships or a proven track record of successful audits with the ADGM Registration Authority.
• Advanced degrees in Law, Finance, or Business Administration.
