Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Design Manager for City Assets to join our visionary team responsible for shaping the future of urban development within Qiddiya. In this crucial role, you will lead the design management process for a diverse range of city assets, including infrastructure, commercial, cultural, and residential developments.

The Senior Design Manager will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure innovative, sustainable, and functional designs that align with Qiddiya's strategic objectives. You will oversee design coordination, manage design consultants, and ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design process for city assets projects, ensuring integration across all disciplines.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to deliver design solutions that meet project goals.
  • Ensure design compliance with regulatory codes, sustainability goals, and best industry practices.
  • Review and approve design deliverables, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources related to design activities.
  • Drive innovation and value engineering initiatives to optimize design quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Mentor and develop design teams to foster collaboration and high performance.
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and materials relevant to city asset design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in design management, preferably with large-scale city or urban development projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams and complex project portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of design standards, building codes, and sustainable design principles.
  • Experience coordinating designs in infrastructure, commercial, residential, or cultural assets is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with design software and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability in design solutions.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
