We are seeking a highly analytical and relationship-driven Partnership Associate to support the growth and performance of our regional business portfolio. This role is ideal for a candidate with a background in investments, financial analysis, relationship management or advisory services who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and client engagement.
As a key partner to the business, the Partnership Associate will deliver data-driven insights, portfolio analysis, and operational coordination to support high-value partnerships. This individual will play a critical role in translating financial and market insights into actionable strategies while helping build and strengthen relationships with external partners.
What You’ll do
Account Operations & Financial Analysis
- Prepare comprehensive research reports for impact investors on investment opportunities within the banking and microfinance sectors, including the identification, assessment, and profiling of investable banks and microfinance institutions (MFIs).
- Deliver analytical support for banking and MFIs portfolio, including performance tracking, financial modeling, and investment analysis
- Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and partner reviews
- Coordinate business line operations, including key meetings, communications, and strategic updates
- Analyze account performance against financial and impact targets, identifying risks and opportunities
Business Development Support
- Support the structuring and positioning of thematic bond issuances (e.g., social, sustainability, and green bonds) and impact investment opportunities by developing investment cases, investor materials, and strategic partnership pathways.
- Develop data-driven insights and investment-oriented storytelling to position value propositions for partners
- Support the creation of pitch materials and financial narratives tailored to institutional and investment-oriented audiences
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align business, insights, and funding strategies
Account & Partner Management Support
- Support day-to-day management of strategic partnerships, including:
o Workplan tracking and execution
o Financial documentation (payments, agreements, invoices)
o Preparation of client-ready materials and briefings
- Engage confidently with partners, contributing to client-facing discussions and relationship building
- Provide analytical and operational support to senior account managers

Requirements
What Makes you a great fit
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in investment banking, asset management, financial advisory, or related financial services
- Experience working with financial products, investment strategies, or portfolio analysis
- Exposure to client-facing or advisory roles preferred
- Strong financial modeling, research, and analytical capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (including data visualization) and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Proficient (written and verbal) in English.
What Makes you standout
- Progress toward or completion of CFA (Level I or II) strongly preferred
- Experience supporting investment advisory or institutional client relationships
Travel Requirement
- Up to 25% of domestic and international travel.
Being authorized to work in the country posted is a precondition of employment.
