Director of Physical Therapy

A Role for an Experienced PT Leader

This full-time Director of Physical Therapy position is based in Berryville, VA and offers an annual salary range of $90,000-$120,000. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

The clinic is looking for a Physical Therapist who can manage the responsibilities that come with leading outpatient care: treating patients, supporting staff, reviewing documentation, coordinating care, and keeping the clinic aligned with professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations for an outpatient physical therapy office
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized therapy plans
• Treat orthopedic, post-operative, sports-related, and mobility cases
• Provide staff guidance on care progression and clinical documentation
• Monitor patient outcomes and support quality improvement efforts
• Assist with daily clinic organization and team communication
• Ensure treatment records meet compliance and payer expectations
• Build strong working relationships with patients and healthcare providers

Requirements

• Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous director, manager, or lead clinician experience preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient rehab standards
• Ability to lead people, manage priorities, and maintain care quality
