This role sits at the center of our operations, translating upper management's vision into structured, actionable workflows for our frontline teams. As a versatile Generalist Assistant Manager overseeing three core sub-teams, you will rely on data to optimize the end-to-end driver lifecycle. In this position, you will work closely with and directly support the Operations Manager, ensuring seamless stakeholder management across internal and regional teams. Success demands a highly analytical approach to process mapping and a collaborative mindset to partner with Team Leads on the ground to craft out measurable solutions.
What you'll do
Process Optimization & Cross-Team Synergy
Workflow Alignment: Partner with Team Leads to review end-to-end operational processes across all sub-teams.
Silo Reduction: Identify operational gaps and friction points between teams, implementing integration strategies to ensure a smooth driver lifecycle.
KPI Mapping: Align daily sub-team outputs and performance metrics with macro-level business goals.
Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to streamline daily workflows, remove redundancies, and improve overall departmental efficiency.
Performance Governance & Leadership Development
Metrics & Reporting: Monitor overall team performance and support Team Leads in synthesizing weekly and monthly operational data.
Performance Intervention: Conduct joint reviews and structured sessions with Team Leads and Frontline (L1) agents to diagnose performance drops and execute turnaround plans.
Team Lead Coaching: Mentor and upskill Team Leads in performance management to maximize their squads' output.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Operational Excellence
Stakeholder Management: Act as the central operational link to align sub-teams with key stakeholders.
Daily Continuity: Oversee day-to-day ground operations, proactively resolving local bottlenecks to maintain business continuity.
Resource Optimization: Manage department capacity and manpower planning and financial budgets.
Ad-Hoc Execution: Provide agile, hands-on support for urgent projects and operational tasks assigned by the Driver Operations Manager.
Regional Alignment & Strategic Tracking
Regional Liaison: Maintain a collaborative relationship with the regional team to ensure local strategy aligns with organizational goals.
Metric Safeguarding: Track core regional KPIs closely, implementing data-driven local fixes to address any performance variances immediately.
Information Cascade: Translate regional updates into local action plans, while feeding ground-level data and insights back up for regional review.

What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
