As a Senior/Principal architect, you will play a pivotal role in one of the world’s most recognized financial services institutions, with a strong presence across insurance, retirement, asset management and financial protection solutions. With a global footprint and a long-standing reputation for trust, scale, and innovation, the client continues to invest in technology as a key enabler to modernize its business, accelerate delivery and create more intelligent digital experiences, also focused on accelerating software delivery by introducing AI-assisted engineering capabilities across the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Stakeholder Leadership: Design and oversee distributed systems architectures, focusing on resilience, low latency, and global scalability. Act as the strategic bridge between client demands and technical feasibility, ensuring engineering efforts translate into immediate business value.
- Strategic Client Management: Possess the political savvy necessary to manage the expectations of diverse partners, transforming vague requirements or organizational pressures into structured, deliverable technical roadmaps.
- Product Vision & Analysis: Translate complex financial models and business needs into elegant technical solutions, focusing on systems that support real-time data processing and high-complexity analysis for enterprise-level decision making.
- Automation & Resilience: Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation, ensuring the agility clients demand with the security and stability required.
- Diplomatic Mentorship: Raise the team’s technical bar not only in code but in interpersonal communication, coaching engineers on how to present technical trade-offs persuasively to non-technical business leaders.

Requirements:
- Proven Track Record: Solid experience in technical leadership roles  with a documented history of direct crisis management and technical negotiations with key clients.
- Backend Mastery: Advanced expertise in high-performance programming languages and ecosystems, focusing on building systems robust enough to withstand rigorous audits and compliance reviews.
- Languages: Past experience with Python & Java applications (Django, Flask, Fast API, microservices, APIs, Swagger, Spring Boot).
- Technical Diplomacy: Proven ability in strategic negotiation and high-level communication, capable of delivering constructive "nos" while proposing alternative solutions that preserve and strengthen client relationships.
