The Team

- Professional backgrounds: Private Equity (3i, Siparex, USS Ltd, Barings, capiton), Consulting (A.T. Kearney, Bain, McKinsey), M&A (Lazard, EY, KPMG, PwC), Industry (Biotronik, Cerba, Pharmacy, Veterinary)
Requirements
Fund Structuring & Lifecycle
- Lead the structuring and launch of retail vehicles (ELTIFs, FCPRs, SLPs, and equivalent regulated funds), including documentation — fund regulations, PRIIPs KID, prospectuses — and AMF filing.
- Manage fund lifecycle events: structural amendments, redemption policy updates, extensions and wind-downs, ensuring timely AMF ( pre-approval and investor notification.
- Coordinate with depositaries, administrators, legal counsel and auditors throughout the fund lifecycle.
Portfolio Management & Investment Committee
- Oversee active portfolio management: NAV validation, allocation monitoring, liquidity management and compliance with investment restrictions (ELTIF 2.0 thresholds, diversification and concentration rules).
- Participate in Investment Committee sessions as the retail fund structuring and eligibility authority, assessing deal eligibility and documenting IC decisions in line with AMF governance standards.
- Work with risk and compliance teams to monitor regulatory ratios, stress-test liquidity, and escalate deviations from approved investment parameters.
Regulatory Compliance & AMF Engagement
- Act as point of contact contact for AMF interactions: monitoring submissions via ROSA, marketing authorisations, ESG/sustainability disclosure compliance (AMF Doctrine, ESMA naming guidelines), and response to inspections.
- Monitor regulatory developments (AIFMD II, ELTIF 2.0, MiFID II, PRIIPs, SFDR, DORA) and communicate implications to senior management.
Distribution & Investor Relations
- Accompany Investor Relation teams in some roadshows with distribution partners (private banks, wealth managers, platforms). Support onboarding, PRIIPs KID delivery and reporting obligations.
- Contribute to the production of quarterly LP reportings, board-level fund status updates and ad hoc regulatory communications.
Required Experience
- 6–12 years of experience in retail fund management or structuring at an AMF-authorised asset management firm (SGP).
- Proven track record managing or structuring unlisted retail vehicles (ELTIFs, FCPRs, SLPs or equivalent), ideally across multiple asset classes (Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Assets).
- Hands-on engagement with the AMF: ROSA submissions, fund authorisation processes, regulatory dialogue and ongoing monitoring.
- Active participation in Investment Committee governance: eligibility assessments, investment policy compliance and formal decision documentation.
- Solid command of the applicable regulatory framework: ELTIF 2.0, AIFMD/II, MiFID II, PRIIPs, SFDR, AMF General Regulation and Doctrine.
- Excellent written and spoken French and English; ability to engage regulators, lawyers, distributors and senior stakeholders with equal confidence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Finance, Law or Economics (Master's, LLM or equivalent).
- AMF Certification Professionnelle or equivalent; CFA or CAIA is a plus.
- Familiarity with cross-border ELTIF passporting and pan-European retail distribution.
- Experience in healthcare, private equity or alternative assets is advantageous.
