Position Overview

The Senior Digital Account Executive drives digital projects from concept to execution, ensuring work is strategically aligned, creatively strong, and delivered with excellence.

Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, the Senior Digital Account Executive anticipates client needs, fosters strong partnerships, and brings a natural leadership presence to every project.

 

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead up to five projects at once, anticipating and navigating potential pitfalls to produce work on time, on brief and on budget:
    • Demonstrate proven experience developing and leading polished presentations, shaping and communicating client recommendations, facilitating discussions, and securing alignment on strategic initiatives to drive the work forward.
    • Partner with strategy teams to develop clear, insight-driven creative briefs that align with client objectives and project goals. Lead the feedback and approval process by gathering, synthesizing, and communicating client input,
    • Evaluate creative work against the client’s brand and strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine deliverables, advocate for the internal team and sell work through to final client approval.
    • Monitor project execution to ensure ongoing alignment with creative briefs and desired outcomes by regularly evaluating work against objectives and facilitating internal team reviews. Partner closely with producers to keep projects on schedule.
  • Lead website enhancement, maintenance, and redesign initiatives from discovery through launch, serving as the primary liaison between clients and cross-functional teams. Possess a basic understanding of website strategy, UX, SEO/GEO best practices, development workflows, and launch requirements to effectively guide project planning, timelines, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner closely with internal strategists, digital producers, designers, and developers to ensure website roadmaps, launches, and design iterations are delivered on time, on budget, and on scope.
  • Manage the execution of integrated campaigns, translating strategic plans into creative assets across digital display, video, audio, radio, and other channels to achieve media objectives and campaign performance goals.
  • Develop, execute, and measure social media strategies across major platforms, including content planning, audience engagement, performance reporting, and paid social campaigns.
  • Provide strategic guidance on digital best practices, website user experience, analytics, SEO/SEM, and emerging digital trends.
  • Learn and improve account-related procedures and systems for efficiency.
  • Develop and maintains strong, collaborative internal and external relationships. Becoming the clients’ go-to agency resource for an initiative.
  • Lead client meetings and status calls; engage with clients independently on tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and lead by example to junior team members.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in marketing or the advertising industry.
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years’ experience required; advertising and/or digital agency experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience working in digital marketing and website design/development projects, including website launches, user experience, analytics, SEO/SEM, and digital media.
    • Experience or exposure to brand strategy development.
  • Software: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Communication: A communications expert with a positive attitude, can read a room and pivot in real time with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Soft Skills: Resilient, curious, creative, clever, empathetic, earns the respect of their clients and coworkers, calm in chaos, knows what motivates and uses it.
  • Practical Skills: Problem solver, solid business instincts, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, ability to make good decisions despite ambiguity.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

 

All hires must be located in or willing to relocate to Boston to work from our offices hybrid three days a week.

The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), stock purchase, vacation, sick and personal days. Also, you will be eligible (approximately thirty days after you commence employment) to participate in all disability, life, travel insurance plans and programs, retirement plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
