About the role:

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Physiologist to join our team. As a Band 6 Respiratory Physiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients. This is a full-time position with an immediate start and offers a competitive hourly rate of £28 - £35.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will perform lung function tests independently and work collaboratively within the respiratory physiology department. You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records and ensure compliance with relevant clinical guidelines and standards. Additionally, you will participate in continuous professional development (CPD) activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • BSc in Healthcare Science (Respiratory & Sleep).
    • Evidence of CPD.
    • Experience working in a respiratory physiology department.
    • Ability to perform lung function tests without supervision.
  • Desirable:
    • ARTP Practitioner Qualification.
    • Registration with the AHCS.
    • Experience in providing mentorship or support to trainees/junior colleagues.
    • Experience with other respiratory physiology investigations.
