Requirements:    

• 0 - 2 years’ experience in Transportation/Logistics or food/beverage manufacturing
• Bilingual; speak, read & write Spanish (Preferred)

Job Description:   

Summary: At GT’s Living Foods, our Transportation Clerk is responsible for scheduling and tracking all outbound freight appointments. The Transportation Clerk will communicate daily with Carriers, Brokers, and internal Supply Chain departments to ensure customer orders and pick-ups are scheduled accurately and efficiently. The transportation clerk will be assigned open projects as needed and must be able to meet deadlines.

Essential Duties:

• Track, schedule, and follow up with Carrier pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely service
• Loading sequences, will assist with trailer assignments, will support carriers with rescheduling requests, and will work closely with the Shipping Coordinators, Logistics Coordinator and the Transportation Router to ensure smooth operation
• Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Details:    

• Work Hours: M – F (7A-3P)
• • Pay range: $18.50 - 20.50
• Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull and carry up to 45 lbs.
• Work Attire: Use good judgement, keeping in mind the nature of their work, their own safety and the safety of others, and their need to interact with the public.
• Involves frequent movement around the warehouse in a wet/humid environment, near moving mechanical parts and/or electrical equipment, and occasionally in a cold environment (30-40°F)
