Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (MSCE) preferred.
- Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience in bridge design.
- Experience in structural design and design review.
- Experience in technical review and quality assurance of structural designs and engineering deliverables.
- Proficient in ETABS, MIDAS, and Revit.
- Experience reviewing and checking structural calculations, design drawings, and BIM models.
- Familiar with Philippine Codes, AASHTO, Australian Standards, and relevant specifications.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy/consulting environment preferred.
- Experience with international consulting firms is an advantage.
- Overseas experience with exposure to international design standards and specifications is an advantage.
- Candidates with strong local bridge design experience are also acceptable.
- High-level consulting and client management skills.
- Proven project management skills.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and undertake key complex technical tasks with a high degree of independence across a broad range of projects.
- Successfully monitor and manage the scope and risk of multiple projects of varying size and complexity and apply applicable business systems.
- Apply high level skills in safety in design practices and processes.
- Deliver best client outcomes which have resulted in cost savings.
- Build technical capability of others.
- Prepare complex technical reports and successful proposals on small, medium, and large projects.
- Utilise excellent time management skills with the ability to efficiently plan workloads and meet deadlines.
- Effectively work across a variety of projects while continuously learning and applying new skills and knowledge.
- Effectively manage client relationships and expectations.
- Provide supervision and coaching to other staff.
- Effectively engage key stakeholders to achieve project outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.
