We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join the Sales and Use Tax practice in our , Bangalore office. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

What Work You Will be Responsible For: 

• Organizing and processing client data for US sales and use tax
• Preparing and filing state and local sales and use tax returns (as applicable) for the US
• Interacting with clients as well as US state tax authorities
• Managing registrations and business licenses for clients 
• Interacting with state and local tax professionals as well as other professionals at the firm 

Basic qualifications for the opportunity

• 0-2 years of experience of US Sales and Use Tax
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field 
• Basic experience with US state sales and use tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis will be an added advantage
• Strong communication, research and writing skill in english
• Ability to work well in group atmosphere, as well as being able to work independently as needed 
• Ability to see the big picture/put yourself in the client’s position 
• Ability to identify solutions to issues and be creative/able to think outside the box 

Ideally, you will also have

• CPA is a plus
• Master's Degree in Accounting
