The Role:
We're looking for an experienced supply planning leader to own David's end-to-end supply planning function.
Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, this role will lead the planning organization responsible for translating demand and FG inventory into executable supply plans across our manufacturing and procurement networks. You will own the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process from the supply chain perspective, ensuring alignment across our sales, finance and marketing teams.
This leader will establish the operating plan for the company, developing the infrastructure, processes, and systems required to support our next stage of growth while simultaneously giving our Operations teams leverage. The ideal candidate thrives in high-growth environments, enjoys building from the ground up, and combines strategic thinking with strong operational execution.
Responsibilities:
Supply Planning & S&OP
- Own David's end-to-end supply (manufacturing & procurement) planning process.
- Lead and continuously improve the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and drive cross-functional alignment
- Translate demand plans into executable production and procurement plans that balance demand, inventory, capacity, service, working capital, and financial objectives
- Lead Supply Review and Executive S&OP meetings, presenting risks, scenarios, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive scenario planning and proactively communicate supply risks, capacity constraints, and opportunities
Supply, Inventory & Capacity Planning
- Own master production planning across David's co-manufacturing network
- Develop capacity plans to support David’s growth while communicating the necessary considerations and opportunities
- Lead FG buffer alignment discussions and communicate the necessary considerations
- Lead supply allocation decisions across our co-manufacturing network
Planning Systems & Process Excellence
- Develop the roadmap for planning capabilities, processes, systems, and reporting as the business scales
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of supply planning technology and planning automation
- Drive initiatives that improve planning accuracy, visibility, and decision-making
Cross-Functional & Team Leadership
- Serve as the primary planning partner across Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and Fulfillment
- Lead cross-functional planning for new product launches and strategic planning initiatives
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Planning organization, establishing clear goals, operating rhythms, and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Influence executive decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in supply planning, S&OP, or supply chain planning, with progressive leadership responsibility
- Proven experience leading end-to-end supply planning across manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and capacity planning
- Experience owning and driving a cross-functional S&OP/IBP process
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills
- Experience building scalable planning processes, systems, and teams in a high-growth environment

- Salary: $190,000 - 250,000 per year, inclusive of bonus.
