The Opportunity

As a St. Louis - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a team that provides independent and objective assessments, helping clients enhance trust and confidence in their financial reporting. This role offers a unique chance to observe and contribute to the success of projects, while developing your skills in auditing methodologies and compliance.

As an Intern, you will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research, all while observing professional work environments. You will have the opportunity to apply a learning mindset, take ownership of your development, and appreciate diverse perspectives. In this role, you will actively listen, ask questions to check understanding, and clearly express ideas. You will gather information from a range of sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, committing to understanding how the business works and building commercial awareness. In this role at PwC, you will start to establish your personal brand, paving the way to more opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams in conducting financial assessments and evaluations
- Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance compliance and governance
- Assisting in the development and deployment of cloud engineering solutions to optimize audit processes
- Engaging in the use of artificial intelligence platforms to improve data analysis and reporting
- Contributing to the assessment of data quality and validation to maintain accuracy and reliability
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into regulatory compliance and standards
- Collaborating with team members to gather and analyze information for audit reports
- Applying active listening skills to understand client needs and provide relevant support
- Accepting feedback constructively to improve performance and professional growth

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
