This position sits in the Marketing Operations team, building a next-generation MarTech stack: data-driven, AI-enabled, and made for the unique solutions being brought to the B2B and B2C market.
The Sr. Manager, Marketing Systems & Automation develops and executes omnichannel campaigns across all owned platforms, owns campaign design, coaches partner teams on best practices, and maintains system standards. The position helps assess new marketing tools and migrate existing processes onto them. Ultimately, the position converts manual campaign assembly into governed, supervised automation and builds the context, content, and data assets that AI-assisted marketing depends on.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with product marketing, creative, and content to develop and execute omnichannel campaigns across all owned platforms — translating positioning and brand requirements into audience, channel, and journey design, and holding each campaign to explicit, agreed-upon KPIs from brief through post-launch readout.
Build, deploy, and supervise automated and agent-assisted marketing workflows and internal tools, ensuring human-in-the-loop at the right time and properly tested workflows.
Help maintain the MarTech Stack—keep good documentation, admin tools, coach and train on new systems, establish best practices across project, build and maintain AI skills and tools for marketing.
Support the customer data foundation with Salesforce and Databricks partners; understand data infrastructure and be a steward of the data that feeds how we segment and measure campaigns.
Campaign and channel performance reporting.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
7-9 years in marketing operations, marketing automation, lifecycle and/or database marketing
A documented history of successfully driving complex projects to completion
Regulated industry experience preferred
Hands-on ownership with a marketing automation/campaign execution platform, including audience construction, journey building, QA, and deliverability fundamentals
Working understanding of SQL, HTML, and common marketing operations code; able to validate and troubleshoot it, including AI-generated output
Ownership of campaign taxonomy and naming standards, UTM governance, and campaign hierarchy — able to define conventions others will actually follow, and enforce them without becoming a bottleneck
Demonstrated experience building an automation, internal tool, or workflow beyond assigned work that others adopted
Experience using AI tools for production work
Ability to translate business and brand requirements into explicit, testable rules
Sound judgment regarding data sensitivity, privacy, and disclosure in a consumer lending environment, including working knowledge of applicable data privacy law
Curious, creative, and critical; an analytical thinker who can reconcile conflicting sources and distinguish a stated request from the underlying need
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
Exceptional verbal and written communication, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Experience migrating campaigns, audiences, and journeys between enterprise marketing automation platforms — including consent and preference state, suppression lists, and historical engagement data — is a plus
Exercises discretion and independent judgement; able to work with autonomy
Compensation: $125,000 - $135,000 annually, plus bonus
