We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs. The candidate should have experience designing and developing scalable, reliable, high-performance backend applications and should be comfortable taking ownership of solutions from design through deployment and production.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Participate in system design and architectural discussions.
• Build reliable, secure, maintainable, and high-performance backend systems.
• Design efficient database interactions and optimize application/database performance.
• Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks, edge cases, scalability concerns, and potential improvements proactively.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving overall engineering standards.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules/features from requirement analysis to production deployment.

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java
• Strong experience with Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Strong understanding of OOP, Collections, Multithreading and Design Patterns
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience with system design, scalability and performance optimization
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience working on production-grade enterprise applications
