À propos de ce poste Speech Pathologist chez Mediix
A well-established multidisciplinary clinic in Melbourne's northern suburbs is looking for a Speech Pathologist to join their team. They're not the biggest practice in Melbourne, and they're not trying to be. What they are is stable, well-run, and genuinely good at looking after their clinicians — which is why people tend to stay.
Why this one is worth a look:
You'll walk into a clinic that already has the things most SPs quietly wish for — a full referral pipeline, admin and billing support that actually works, sensible caseload numbers, and a team of OTs, psychologists and fellow SPs who eat lunch together most days. Supervision is structured, PD is properly funded (not a token $500), and if you want to develop a niche — paediatric feeding, adult voice, AAC, literacy — they'll back you to do it.
Caseload is flexible: paediatric, adult, or a mix. Clinic-based, so no driving across the northern suburbs between school visits.
What is on offer:
- Above-award pay, negotiable — genuinely negotiable, not "negotiable" as code for "the number on the ad"
- 0.6 to 1.0 FTE, school hours and compressed weeks all on the table
- New grads with strong placements: yes, please apply — there's real mentoring here
- Experienced SPs looking for somewhere sustainable to land: also yes
- SPA eligible or certified, WWCC (VIC) and NDIS Worker Screening, VIC licence preferred
