Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processing Team Lead to join our team in Plainview, NY.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00pm –2: 30am and alternating weekends; ability to cover 1st and 3rd shift and weekends as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 3 years or more experience in lab, accessioning, data entry or production.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree
• 1 or more experience working in a clinical laboratory
• 1 or more experience as a people leader

Job Additional Standards:

• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
