About the Role
As a Commerce Cloud Specialist Solution Engineer, you will be the sole dedicated Commerce SE for the Middle East, embedded within a high-performing team of cloud specialists covering MC, Revenue Cloud, Field Service, and Slack. You'll partner closely with Account Executives and Account SEs to drive Commerce-led opportunities across B2B and B2C customers in the UAE, KSA, and the broader Gulf region.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing pre-sales role where your ability to connect Commerce capabilities to business outcomes — across complex, multi-cloud deals — will directly influence pipeline and revenue.
What You'll Do
Own all Commerce Cloud pre-sales engagements in the Middle East, acting as the authoritative product expert across B2C Commerce, B2B Commerce, Headless/Composable Commerce, and Order Management
Deliver compelling, business-value-driven demos and technical sessions tailored to customer pain points and industry context
Lead discovery, solution design, and POC/pilot engagements for Commerce opportunities, often as part of broader multi-cloud deals
Collaborate with Account SEs and AEs to craft winning deal strategies, addressing competitive threats (especially SAP and existing CRM/Commerce landscapes)
Support large, complex proposals with sizing, architecture guidance, and ROI storytelling
Partner with the Agentforce narrative — positioning Commerce Agents and AI-powered commerce capabilities as strategic differentiators
Engage regional customer events, EBCs, and field marketing initiatives (Agentforce World Tour, Executive Briefings, etc.)
Build internal knowledge and enablement assets to support the broader SE team on Commerce topics
Act as a trusted advisor to customers ranging from retail and healthcare to agri-commodity groups and digital-native enterprises
What We're Looking For
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of pre-sales or solution engineering experience, with strong focus on e-commerce or digital commerce platforms
Deep knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C and/or B2B), or equivalent platforms (SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, commercetools, Shopify Plus)
Ability to deliver executive-level business value conversations as well as hands-on technical demos
Strong Arabic and English communication skills — the ability to navigate both technical and C-suite conversations in the region is key
Track record of supporting enterprise deals in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
Experience in the Middle East or willingness to be based in Dubai
Preferred:
Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications (B2C or B2B Commerce Architect)
Hands-on familiarity with Headless/Composable Commerce architectures and front-end integration patterns
Experience positioning Order Management Systems (OMS) in complex retail or distribution environments
Knowledge of complementary clouds: Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud — comfort operating in multi-cloud deals is a big plus
Prior work with retail, CPG, healthcare, or manufacturing verticals in the Gulf region
