The role:

We're looking for a Solution Engineer to join our Solution Engineering team. You'll act as a strategic technical partner in the pre-sales phase, working closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to shape tailored solutions that align with customer needs and business value.

You'll design and validate solutions, showcase what our platform can do, work through technical objections, and make sure the handoff from pre-sales to implementation is seamless — so customers start their journey with MotorK on the right foot.

Requirements

What you'll do:

• Lead technical discovery with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into feasible solution architectures, including configurations, integrations, and APIs.
• Deliver tailored product demos and presentations that showcase our platform's capabilities and technical advantages, and contribute to proposals, RFPs, and sales strategy.
• Design and run trials, proofs of concept (PoCs), and pilot programs to validate technical feasibility and fit — and address technical objections and constraints along the way.
• Act as a liaison between Sales, Product, and Engineering, sharing structured customer and market feedback, and support internal enablement with insights from the field.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or a similar role within SaaS/digital environments.
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and software configurations.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Pre-sales experience including demos, trials, and RFPs.
• Familiarity with CRM, workflow tools, and cloud-based platforms.
• Comfortable working with documentation, presentation, and collaborative tools (e.g., Confluence, Notion, Figma).
• Strong communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical, structured thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a comfortable relationship with ambiguity.
• Fluent in English and French; additional European languages are a plus.
