Conducting a search for a Senior Traffic Studies / Planning Engineer to join a Transportation team in the Greater Orlando Area.
This is a senior-level opportunity for a Traffic Engineer, Transportation Planning Engineer, or Traffic Studies professional with strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, client relationship skills, and business development experience.
The successful candidate will lead complex traffic studies, transportation planning and analysis, traffic engineering, and safety planning initiatives, while supporting major project pursuits, developing client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of Stanley Consultants' Transportation practice in Central Florida.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience, a Florida PE license or the ability to obtain one quickly, and experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, analysis, and studies. PTOE or RSP certification is strongly valued.
What You'll Do
Traffic Engineering & Transportation Planning
- Lead and manage traffic studies, transportation planning, traffic analysis, and traffic engineering projects.
- Provide technical leadership on complex transportation assignments.
- Develop, review, and present traffic engineering analyses, reports, recommendations, and technical deliverables.
- Lead transportation safety planning and related initiatives.
- Apply sound engineering judgment to traffic operations, transportation planning, and infrastructure challenges.
- Perform technical quality assurance and peer review of project deliverables.
- Support the development and implementation of engineering standards, policies, and procedures.
