Your Skills:
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of core accounting processes, controls, and compliance requirements across areas such as close, reconciliations, inventory, revenue, payables, receivables, tax, and financial reporting.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate process pain points and manual work into measurable improvement opportunities, hypotheses, and experiments.
• Stakeholder Influence: Ability to build trust and work effectively with Accounting leaders and teams, Finance partners, IT, and Legal.
• Ethical Judgment: Sound judgment in identifying financial reporting, audit, data integrity, privacy, and compliance risks, with the ability to apply appropriate safeguards before solutions are deployed.
• Delivery Focus: Strong execution skills with the ability to balance speed, quality, adoption, and risk.
• Learning Agility: Curiosity and adaptability to quickly learn new tools and translate emerging capabilities into business value.
Your Responsibilities:
• Translate accounting workflows into practical automation and AI solutions that reduce manual work, improve data quality, strengthen process consistency, and support timely, reliable financial information.
• Collaborate with Accounting SMEs to design, test, and implement solutions that may include accounting systems, automation tools, APIs, analytics, and generative AI capabilities where appropriate.
• Monitor new functionality and enhancements within cloud-based accounting applications, partnering with relevant teams to assess business value and support timely, effective adoption.
• Lead assigned medium-complexity projects from discovery through launch, coordinating timelines, scope, stakeholders, vendors, and delivery milestones.
• Support adoption through effective change management, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, documentation, and post-launch reinforcement for assigned solutions.
• Advance scalable solutions across global Accounting teams by helping standardize processes, reduce manual effort, and improve visibility across regions.
• Ensure solutions meet standards for data quality, privacy, auditability, internal controls, and compliance by working with Accounting process owners, IT, Legal, and Finance stakeholders.
• Embed solutions into day-to-day accounting operations by documenting processes, monitoring performance, supporting issue resolution, and identifying post-launch improvement opportunities.
• Build AI and automation fluency across Accounting by providing practical guidance to team members and process owners on responsible use, effective prompting, and automation best practices.
• Measure impact through adoption, time savings, scalability, quality improvements, control effectiveness, and business outcomes, using insights to continuously improve solutions.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in accounting operations, accounting systems, data analytics, or related field with direct involvement in automation, systems improvement, or AI-enabled projects
• Demonstrated success managing medium-complexity, cross-functional projects and driving work from planning through implementation
• Experience supporting change management, training, communications, or adoption efforts for new tools, processes, or workflows
• Understanding of internal control considerations related to accounting systems, automation, reporting, and data integrity
• Ability to work across regional or global teams to standardize processes, align requirements, and support scalable technology solutions
• Working knowledge of at least two of the following: ERP systems, robotic process automation tools, SQL, APIs, AI and automation platforms, analytics tools, or scripting languages such as Python
• Demonstrated ability and interest in applying AI and automation to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and increase team capacity

Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $98,286 - $147,428 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
