About The Role

We are currently looking for Procurement/Contract Specialist who will be responsible for providing specialist support in the preparation, review, updating, and finalization of bid documents for construction packages identified during the feasibility study. The position is responsible for incorporating inputs from relevant experts, preparing evaluation criteria in line with World Bank guidelines and Standard Bidding Documents, coordinating with the Employer, and ensuring that any required modifications are promptly addressed before finalization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and review technical, financial, contractual, environmental, social, and procurement inputs from relevant experts for each construction package.
• Prepare bid documents, including instructions to bidders, technical specifications, drawings, BOQ, contract conditions, forms, and required schedules.
• Develop evaluation criteria in accordance with World Bank guidelines, Standard Bidding Documents, project requirements, and procurement strategy.
• Review approved project documents, design updates, scope changes, procurement revisions, and Employer instructions to identify required updates.
• Present key issues, proposed changes, and required clarifications to the Employer for review, agreement, and decision-making.

About You

• Graduation in Law/Engineering or equivalent relevant subject.
• 15 years of total professional experience,
• 8 years’ experience in similar type feasibility study and design consultancy, including preferably 8 years’ experience in similar post for similar type consultancy.
