We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team in POG.

This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in process engineering design and a pragmatic approach to equipment design. The successful candidate will be adept at analyzing complex technical information and presenting it in a clear, logical, and accessible manner.

Key Responsibilities

As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Projects and Production Departments to ensure safe and efficient operation of all assets. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering process engineering support to Operations.
• Managing change processes and conducting operational risk assessments.
• Developing and updating PFDs, P&IDs, and Cause & Effect matrices, including alarm and trip settings.
• Performing equipment and instrumentation sizing through detailed calculation notes.
• Preparing datasheets for major equipment/packages and instrumentation.
• Conducting heat integration analysis and hydraulic calculations for pumps and compressors.
• Performing relief calculations, PSV sizing, and flare system hydraulics.
• Producing safeguarding diagrams and operating procedures as required.
• Reviewing and approving process engineering deliverables from contractors.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Degree: BSc or MSc in Process Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in the Process or Petrochemical industry and/or onshore/offshore oil & gas.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Unisim, Pipesim, Flare System Analyzer, Flaresim).
• Strong understanding of equipment design for oil and gas processing facilities and associated pipelines.
• Working knowledge of international engineering standards.
• Soft Skills:
• Ability to develop innovative, pragmatic, and safe solutions to engineering challenges.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying complex design issues clearly.
• Effective inter-discipline coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
