We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer with 5–12 years of professional experience to lead the design and execution of high-quality interior projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior architecture, space planning, materials, finishes, and design detailing, along with advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.

The candidate will be responsible for taking projects from initial concept development through detailed design and execution, while collaborating closely with clients, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Strong design sensibility, technical knowledge, project ownership, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on project requirements, client expectations, budgets, and timelines.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and construction documentation using AutoCAD.
• Create and develop 3D models, spatial concepts, and design presentations using SketchUp.
• Lead space planning and ensure efficient utilization of available areas while maintaining aesthetics, functionality, safety, and design standards.
• Develop furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring plans, lighting concepts, material selections, and detailed interior specifications.
• Prepare mood boards, material palettes, design presentations, and concept proposals for client discussions.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review drawings and site conditions to identify discrepancies and resolve design or technical issues.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor design implementation and ensure execution matches approved drawings and specifications.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories in line with the overall design concept.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, timelines, and budget requirements are met.
• Review shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and material submissions from contractors and vendors.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design development, technical drawings, and project execution.
• Stay updated on emerging interior design trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–12 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably handling projects independently from concept to execution.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings.
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modeling and design visualization.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, interior detailing, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and construction techniques.
• Excellent understanding of architectural and interior design drawings.
• Strong creative and conceptual design abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into practical and visually compelling design solutions.
• Good knowledge of construction processes and coordination with site teams and contractors.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
