WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU
This position is part of the QC Operations Support team and supports the Pfizer Sanford, NC Quality Control department by performing activities related to planning, testing timeline management, digital tool development and deployment, data entry and data review.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
Act safely and comply with all site and QC laboratory EH&S safety requirements.
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
Follow written procedures accurately and learn through hands-on training.
Support QC batch and stability sample tracking and investigation flow to help ensure product lead times are met.
Develop and support implementation of effective digital tools that enable real-time metric reporting and achievement of KPIs.
Support contract laboratory management activities, including data entry, data review, LTA activities, meetings, and related follow-up.
The individual should have knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Microsoft Office applications—specifically Word and Excel—analytical techniques, Lean Six Sigma concepts, and Lean Labs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 3+ years of relevant experience; OR a master's degree with 0+ years of experience.
Demonstrated experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to establish strong working relationships across business lines.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with laboratory information management systems and data analysis software.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have
Experience in Quality Operations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using common AI and digital tools, including generative technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Batch Tracker, LIMS and SmartQC, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.

Secondment 6-9 months
If you are currently in a driving position with a fleet vehicle and this secondment does not require driving as an essential function of the position for 12 months or longer, you will be required to turn in your fleet vehicle for the duration of the non-driving secondment. There will be no change to your current work location.
