The work
The SAP Fiori Developer uses JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 front-end code within a SAP UI5 framework utilizing tool such as SAP WebIDE, SAP Business Application Studio, Eclipse IDE, and additional tooling (e.g. git, code quality/vulnerability/unit test tools) in support of an iterative Test Driven Development methodology. The SAP Fiori Developer is required to understand the SAP Fiori/UI5 front-end and back-end core ERP integration via SAP Gateway and OData Services. In addition, oversees development component testing and debugging and performs development of technical documentation. The SAP Fiori Developer may evaluate problems of user experience bottlenecks and overall Business process design workflow and develop appropriate corrective actions.
Key responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and test SAP Fiori/UI5 applications aligned with product and release schedules
• Develop front‑end components using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and SAPUI5 framework tools
• Utilize SAP WebIDE, SAP Business Application Studio, Eclipse IDE, Git, and automated testing tools to support a TDD methodology
• Integrate Fiori/UI5 applications with SAP ERP back‑end systems through SAP Gateway and OData Services
• Prepare and present technical content at interchange meetings, project design reviews, and product review sessions
• Apply advanced technical expertise across SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and ERP integration
• Analyze user experience bottlenecks and business process workflow issues; recommend corrective actions
• Support budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning activities
• Manage and mentor junior development team members
• Prepare and maintain thorough technical documentation
Here’s what you need:
• 8+ years of SAP Fiori enablement, SAPUI5 development, and/or general web development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience integrating Fiori applications with SAP BTP
• Familiarity with SAP Build Work Zone
Eligibility requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship required (duals accepted)
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust government clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
