As a Sales Specialist at FactSet, you will be the subject matter expert driving growth for our Real-Time Exchange Datafeed and Tick History offerings across the EMEA region. You will engage with a broad spectrum of financial institutions—including Investment Managers, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, and Wealth Management firms—to identify, develop, and close new opportunities. Your efforts will be integral to expanding FactSet’s market presence and strengthening client partnerships.
What you 'll do :
- Own the end-to-end sales process for Real-Time Exchange Datafeed and Tick History solutions, from lead generation and qualification to solution presentation and deal closure.
- Collaborate closely with FactSet’s New Business team and established account owners to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Leverage deep industry and technical expertise to understand client workflows and articulate FactSet’s value proposition in competitive scenarios.
- Drive pipeline growth through proactive outreach, industry networking, and targeted prospecting across assigned segments.
- Maintain a disciplined, KPI-driven approach to achieving and exceeding personal and team sales targets.
- Utilize technology platforms and CRM tools, such as Salesforce, for pipeline management and reporting.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience by proactively addressing needs and positioning FactSet as a trusted partner.
What We’re Looking For :
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, account management, or business development within the financial services technology sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Order Management Systems, trading workflows, and real-time data environments.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- Proven track record of lead generation and consultative selling.
- Strong motivation to achieve results and exceed client expectations.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- High level of discipline, organizational excellence, and self-motivation.
- Previous experience with FactSet products or similar market data platforms would be valued.
- Familiarity with managing opportunities and pipeline in Salesforce or another CRM system is considered an asset.
