Safety & Environmental Intern

Job Description
Supports the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team in promoting a safe and compliant workplace within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The intern will assist with safety programs, inspections, training activities, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while gaining practical experience in occupational health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Support routine safety inspections, audits, and workplace observations.
• Assist with incident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Help maintain EHS records, metrics, and compliance documentation.
• Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
• Support the delivery of safety training and awareness campaigns.
• Assist with emergency preparedness activities, including drills and equipment checks.
• Analyze safety data and prepare reports, presentations, and communications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to workplace safety and environmental performance.

Education

Completing a qualification in related discipline, environmental science, engineering, science or similar.

No experience required.
