Instructure is a global market-leading Education Technology (EdTech) SaaS provider. We are seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific to lead a high-performing sales team, drive revenue growth, and expand market share across the region.
This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader with a strong background in SaaS or EdTech, a proven track record of exceeding targets, and the ability to inspire and develop elite talent.
The Role
You will own regional sales execution across APAC, leading a team of Account Executives to deliver against ambitious growth targets while building a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in translating Instructure's global strategy into localised wins across diverse APAC markets with particular focus on Japan, Philippines, Singapore, & Malaysia and other Asia Pacific Territories.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets and key performance indicators
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent to build a strong and sustainable regional pipeline
Accurately forecast regional sales performance and provide regular pipeline updates to senior leadership
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adapt strategy accordingly
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience
Negotiate and close complex enterprise sales agreements, demonstrating strong commercial acumen
Represent Instructure at industry events, conferences, and senior customer engagements across the region
Requirements
5+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership, preferably in SaaS or EdTech
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth
Experience developing and implementing successful regional sales strategies and go-to-market plans
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing sales professionals
Understanding of the educational technology landscape and the challenges faced by educational institutions
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
Strong analytical capability and a data-driven approach to decision making
Willingness to travel regularly across the EMEA region
