Medivet 24 hour Sutton is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team working 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 weekends.

Be part of a large team of vets, nurses and support staff who work side by side every day to deliver the right treatment day and night.

Our well established practice is led by experienced Branch Partners Michael and Paolo. Our nursing team consists of four RVNs, four SVN’s and three VCA’s.

Our reception and consultation rooms have been newly refurbished, and we're fully equipped to deliver exceptional care with ultrasound, endoscope, laparoscopic equipment, digital and dental X-rays, a comprehensive in-house lab, and equipment for orthopaedic procedures.

The region boasts a dedicated network of skilled vets and nurses who collaborate closely to solve cases, provide outstanding patient care, and support one another’s professional growth.

Situated in a charming location, the practice is just a 10 minute stroll from Sutton station, providing convenient direct rail links to London Victoria.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:

• Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.

• Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.

• Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.

• Deliver patient monitoring and care.

• Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.

• Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.

• Dispense and check medication.

• Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.

• Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

• 1 in 4 weekends

Your Skills and Experience

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.

• Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.

• Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.

• Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.

• Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
