What would you do? • You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. • Design and implement process and solutions to record and process all aspects of fixed assets accounting. • Includes chart of accounts alignment, back office integration, folio management, payment processing, transfer & retirement of assets, physical inventory and Construction In Process (CIP) project accounting.
What are we looking for? • • Finance Processes • • US GAAP fixed asset accounting, including ASC 360, depreciation methodologies and capitalization principles • • Subledger-to-GL reconciliation, exception investigation and period-close delivery • Systems Knowledge (preferred) • • Exposure to Yardi ERP • Industry Experience (preferred) • • Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
Roles and Responsibilities: • • In this role, you are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines • • Your expected interactions are within your team and direct supervisor • • Record approved asset additions, transfers, reclassifications, depreciation, disposals and retirements accurately and on time. • • Prepare or review fixed asset roll-forwards, asset reports and subledger reconciliations; resolve or escalate breaks and aged items. • • Validate asset class, useful life, property code and supporting approvals before posting transactions. • • Maintain control and audit evidence, support standardization and monitor SLA and quality performance; specific KPI targets • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
