Job Description
- Assist with propagation, planting, transplanting and cultivation of cannabis plants throughout all stages of growth.
- Perform routine plant care, including watering, trimming plants, removing extra leaves and supporting plants with nets and ties.
- Monitor cannabis plants for healthy growth and report signs of nutrient deficiencies, pests, diseases, or environmental concerns to supervisors.
- Apply approved irrigation, nutrients, and crop care practices according to established cultivation procedures.
- Assist with harvesting cannabis plants, including cutting, trimming, sorting, and preparing harvested material for further processing.
- Package and label cannabis products in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain cultivation rooms, production areas, tools, equipment, and workstations following sanitation and biosecurity protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory counts, and cultivation logs as required.
- Safely operate cultivation equipment and follow all workplace health and safety, security, and cannabis regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production schedules and quality standards.
- Perform other cultivation and production duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
