Silgan Closures is seeking a Production Supervisor to support daily operations at our Evansville manufacturing facility. This position provides leadership to union employees while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of metal closures.

What You Will Do:
Supervise union employees in a production manufacturing operation
Ensure compliance with safety programs, food safety regulations, and quality management standards
Apply SOPs, SPC, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles
Manage production flow, equipment performance, and staffing to meet manufacturing targets
Track productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and manufacturing KPIs
Maintain labor agreement compliance while assigning work and managing attendance
Communicate effectively across shifts with maintenance, quality, engineering, and manufacturing operations teams
What You’ll Bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or related field is a plus
Prior experience as a production supervisor, manufacturing supervisor, shift supervisor, or operations supervisor
Experience supervising employees in a union manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environment preferred
