Hexcel is currently seeking a Production Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Ensure the achievement of production targets related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost in alignment with plant objectives.
• Promote and reinforce a strong EHS culture through active participation in safety initiatives, risk assessments, training programs, and corrective actions.
• Plan and manage workforce requirements by identifying staffing needs, supporting recruitment activities, and coordinating training and development plans.
• Lead daily production activities to ensure efficient resource utilization, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
• Establish, monitor, and drive annual production objectives and KPIs, ensuring corrective actions are implemented when targets are not achieved.
• Facilitate problem-solving activities and continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and other operational excellence tools.
• Implement and sustain operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity, increase efficiency, reduce inventory levels, and minimize operating costs.
• Develop, standardize, and maintain production procedures, training materials, and best practices to ensure process consistency and workforce capability.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members while supporting succession planning, talent development, and employee retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, company policies, legal requirements, and applicable industry standards while supporting audits and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, industrial operations, or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of production management, manufacturing processes, and operational performance improvement.
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Good understanding of quality management systems and industry standards (ISO, AS9100, customer-specific requirements, etc.).
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) regulations and best practices within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with production planning, capacity management, workforce planning, and inventory optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, communication, and team-development capabilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to analyze production data and performance indicators.
