What's the role?

Official job title is Product Manager – Source and will be based in Dubai, UAE.

The position will lead the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of seismic source technologies and solutions. This role will be responsible for defining product strategy, driving innovation, and delivering products that enhance seismic acquisition performance, operational efficiency, data quality, safety, and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of seismic acquisition methodologies, source systems (marine), product management practices, and customer requirements across the energy, geophysical, and subsurface imaging sectors. Working closely with engineering, operations, commercial, and customer teams, the position will translate market needs into product roadmaps and commercially successful solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute the product strategy, vision, roadmap, and value proposition for seismic source equipment, systems, and related digital solutions.
• Identify market opportunities, emerging technologies, customer requirements, and competitive trends to drive product innovation and investment decisions.
• Build business cases and prioritize product initiatives based on commercial value, operational impact, and strategic objectives.
• Engage with customers, acquisition teams, geophysicists, and other industry stakeholders to understand operational challenges and evolving market needs.
• Gather, analyze, and incorporate customer feedback and market intelligence to continuously enhance product offerings and maintain competitive differentiation.
• Lead the product lifecycle from concept to commercialization by collaborating with engineering, R&D, software, operations, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Translate customer and business requirements into detailed product specifications and oversee development, testing, validation, launch, and deployment activities.
• Ensure products meet performance, reliability, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements while delivering operational excellence.
• Monitor product performance through KPIs, customer feedback, and field data, driving continuous improvements in productivity, source efficiency, data quality, and cost optimization.
• Partner with sales and business development teams to support customer engagements, proposals, tenders, technical presentations, and go-to-market activities.
• Develop product documentation, training materials, pricing strategies, and commercial plans to maximize product adoption, profitability, and market share.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry conferences, exhibitions, and technical forums, serving as the subject matter expert for seismic source solutions.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geophysics, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Physics, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the energy or marine technology sectors.
• Strong knowledge of underwater seismic acquisition and related technologies.
• Proven track record of managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate ideas clearly.
• Results-driven mindset with strong project management skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagement and product demonstrations
