What will you do?

The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) seeks to transform the delivery of Government Digital Services by taking an "outside-in" view, putting citizens and businesses at the heart of everything we do. We also develop the Smart Nation infrastructure and applications, and facilitate collaboration with the public to co-develop technologies. The mission of Trust & Safety (T&S) spans four areas:

• Building tech solutions to detect, disrupt and deter scammers at scale.
• Creating safer digital environments for young Singaporeans by building better safety features and tools for children using digital devices.
• Supporting AI safety, by working with GovTech's AI Programme to help ensure AI systems are safe, trustworthy and resilient

The work spans data infrastructure, developing and deploying AI & ML to scale proactive detection, API connections to partners, as well as front-end systems for agencies.

• Your job will be to bring your experience, technical expertise, and capability in solving abstract problems to enhance the digital safety for Singaporeans.
• As a Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of our mission to protect Singaporeans through building tools, working closely with cross-functional teams across multiple agencies. You will be responsible for driving the product roadmap, whilst constantly adapting (and delivering!) to meet the ever-changing digital landscape. And at the core, this means building a foundation of knowledge across user needs, technical constraints, and design goals so you can act as a bridge across all of them.
• Product Strategy & Vision: Own a product or feature area, driving its success from conception to launch. You will develop the product vision, align cross-functional teams around long-term goals, and define North Star success metrics to ensure your product delivers tangible public value.
• Analytical & Product Sense: Operate in an ambiguous, fast-moving space by making critical decisions and prioritisations based on data. You will continuously evaluate features informed by user research, market trends, and internal feedback loops, leveraging data to validate or pivot ideas prior to development.
• Execution & Delivery: Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and UX designers to balance speed, quality, and simplicity. You will foster a culture of agility, carefully navigating the short-term trade-offs of rapid deployment against long-term technical debt.
• Stakeholder Orchestration: Act as a crucial liaison between business leadership, operational partners like the Singapore Police Force (SPF), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and global tech platforms (e.g., Google, Meta). You will navigate disagreements constructively, facilitate WOG (Whole-of-Government) alignment, and drive systemic value across the organisation.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Take full ownership of broad, ambiguously-scoped projects. You will synthesise complex data into clear strategic recommendations, proactively drive workstreams, and mentor junior team members to actively raise overall team capability and productivity.
