Payroll  Specialist for Greece Payroll

You will join a collaborative payroll team serving GSK colleagues in Poland and our wider region. You will deliver accurate, timely payroll and support payroll queries from employees and managers. You will work with internal HR, finance and external providers to ensure payroll follows Greek law and global standards. We value accuracy, clear communication, and a drive to improve processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll for employees in Greece, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Prepare monthly payroll close tasks, reconciliations and standard payroll reports.

• Maintain payroll records and support statutory reporting, year-end processes and filings.

• Respond to payroll queries from employees, managers and internal partners with clear and timely communication.

• Work with external payroll providers, auditors and internal teams to ensure compliance with Greece labor, tax and social security rules.

• Identify and support process improvements, payroll configuration changes and payroll-related projects.

Why You?
Basic Qualification:

• Minimum 2 years of Greece payroll experience or strong knowledge of Greek payroll rules.

• Practical knowledge of Greece labour law, income tax and social security contributions.

• Strong Excel skills and experience preparing reconciliations and reports.

• Good Greek  and good written and spoken English.

• High level of accuracy, confidentiality and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with Workday or other global HR systems.

• Experience handling year-end statutory filings and validations in Government digital platform ERGANI and tax authorities.

• Prior experience in a centralized or international payroll environment.

• Familiarity with payroll controls, audits and compliance processes.

• Experience contributing to process automation  and improvements.

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to explain payroll concepts simply.

Working model:

This role is hybrid. You will be expected to work from our Poznan office regularly and be available for in-person collaboration.

Polish Salary Range / Polski przedział wynagrodzenia: PLN 104,250 to PLN 173,750The annual gross base salary range for new hires in this position is listed above for each applicable location.
