Part-Time Infant Caregiver – Mountain View, CA

A loving family in Mountain View, CA 94043 is seeking an attentive, experienced part-time nanny to care for their sweet 8-month-old infant. 

Schedule:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 16 hours per week guaranteed
• Desired Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Duration: Long-term through late spring 2027 (with potential option to expand hours or continue beyond)

Family Specifications:

• Home environment is a clean, quiet, safe, pet-free upstairs condo
• Strong focus on screen-free developmental care, hands-on play, and outdoor enrichment
• Family values strict adherence to safe sleep routines and established schedules

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, one-on-one care for 1 infant, adhering closely to the daily routine
• Handle bottle feedings (breast milk) and assist with the upcoming transition to solid foods
• Strictly implement safe sleep practices (independent crib sleeping with zero co-sleeping, pillows, blankets, or stuffed animals)
• Lead screen-free engagement, including reading, talking, floor play, and walks to local parks or the library
• Safely navigate carrying the stroller up and down the condo stairs for local outings

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional infant care experience
• Current CPR and Infant First Aid certification
• Physical capability to carry a stroller up and down stairs safely

Preferred:

• 5+ years of professional experience with infants in the 8–9 month age range
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle access for activities
• Mandarin language proficiency

Compensation:

• $27.00 – $32.00 / hour (commensurate with experience)
