Extend OSHC at Waverley Christian College, Narre Warren South

Position: Casual Position.

Hourly Rate: $37.58 - $47.68 Per Hour (including the Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Vacation Care: Work either morning or afternoon shifts up to 6 hour shifts.
• Hours: Monday to Friday. Guaranteed all school days during Vacation Care.
• Travel: Work close to home.
• Professional Development: Paid training for your professional development.

Key Responsibilities

As our OSHC Service Assistant you will:

• Build Trust: Instill confidence and build strong relationships within the school community.
• Faithfully Embody: Respect and align with the school’s faith-based values and ethos during interactions with children, families and school staff.
• Inspire and Deliver: Enriching and intentional play-based programs that foster engagement, creativity and quality learning.
• Chef it up: Prepare healthy, tasty breakfast and afternoon tea.
• Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels important.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
• The Essentials: A valid Working with Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, Food Safety Handler, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
• Community Connection: Members of the Waverley Christian College community will be highly regarded.
