As an Oracle Data Modeler - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data strategies and solutions within our Oracle practice. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing data models that drive business insights and support client objectives. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your analytical skills to navigate complex data challenges, build meaningful client relationships, and mentor junior team members. You will focus on delivering quality work while growing your personal brand and technical skills.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate within our Finance Technology - Oracle Core ERP practice, contributing to the modernization of digital core systems. You will be exposed to diverse perspectives and needs, using your critical thinking to break down complex concepts and anticipate client requirements. Your ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights will be key in delivering impactful solutions. Embracing ambiguity, you will use these moments as opportunities to grow and develop a deeper understanding of the business context.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for relational and non-relational databases, translating complex business requirements into scalable data solutions.

- Develop source-to-target mappings, manage metadata and data dictionaries, and enforce data quality, security, and governance standards to ensure data integrity and consistency.

- Identify and resolve database performance issues while partnering with ETL developers, data architects, and business stakeholders to support efficient data delivery and enterprise-wide data initiatives.
- Developing and implementing data models using Oracle technologies to support business analytics
- Conducting complex data analysis to identify trends and insights for client engagements
- Utilizing data integration and data mining techniques to enhance data quality and reliability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data-driven solutions
- Applying data visualization tools to present analytical findings in a clear and actionable manner
- Managing data security protocols to protect sensitive information within analytics frameworks
- Creating data quality improvement plans to address and rectify data inconsistencies
- Leveraging Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication and integration
- Engaging in data-driven consulting to provide strategic recommendations to clients
- Facilitating data collection and preprocessing to streamline data analysis processes

What You Must Have

- Experience with data on Oracle Cloud applications like Fusion ERP

- Experience with python for data analysis.
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Proficient in industry-leading data modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio, IBM InfoSphere) with strong expertise in data modeling methodologies, normalization, denormalization, and Data Vault 2.0

- Strong SQL and database knowledge across PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle, with a solid understanding of ETL processes and data flow mapping.

- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and the capability to work independently as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering
- At least one of the following: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications; cloud architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud); cloud data engineering certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Databricks); Snowflake certifications
- Demonstrating proficiency in Oracle Golden Gate for data integration
- Utilizing complex data analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Excelling in data-driven consulting within finance technology
- Navigating ambiguity in client support environments
- Developing data quality improvement plans (DQIP) for enhanced data security
