Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and system-oriented Operations Project Manager to join our Operations department.
In this role, you will be responsible end-to-end for planning, managing, and synchronizing operational projects for our customers, ensuring strict adherence to On-Time Delivery (OTD), quality standards, and budget constraints. This position requires strong matrix management across internal and external stakeholders, close collaboration with subcontractors and logistics warehouses, and ongoing alignment with Customer Success teams.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Operational Project Management: Plan, track, and lead operational projects from order receipt through to final delivery to the customer.
- On-Time Delivery (OTD): Manage engineering and operational schedules, proactively identify bottlenecks, and mitigate risks to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Subcontractor & Supplier Management: Maintain ongoing work with manufacturing and assembly subcontractors, monitor production line progress, resolve real-time issues, and ensure project targets are met.
- Logistics Warehouse Operations: Coordinate and synchronize with internal and third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses. Oversee inventory management, kitting, issuances, packaging, shipping, and stock movements supporting subcontractor assembly lines.
- Cross-Functional Matrix Leadership: Drive tasks and cross-functional teams within the Operations division (Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing).
- Customer Success Alignment: Work closely with Customer Success and Sales teams to provide project status updates, manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) / scope changes, and align operational execution with customer requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of proven experience as an Operations Project Manager in a hardware, manufacturing, or operational environment – Mandatory.
- Hands-on experience managing and executing tasks with external subcontractors and suppliers.
- Hands-on experience and deep understanding of logistics warehouse operations (inventory management, production kitting, shipping, and transfers between warehouses and subcontractors) – Mandatory.
- Proven track record of meeting On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets and managing complex project timelines for customers.
- Proven experience in matrix management across multiple cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, QA).
- Experience working alongside Customer Success / Account Management teams.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Priority, SAP) and project management tools (MS Project, Monday.com, etc.).
- B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or an Engineering field – Strong Advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and the ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
- Systems-thinking approach, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- High level of English proficiency (written and spoken) – Mandatory.
